About the Program

Al-Khwarizmi is a joint program between "Smart Reality Initiative" and "FALAK for Space Sciences and Research", aimed at empowering 25 university students in artificial intelligence and robotics fields, and linking these knowledge areas with modern applications in space sciences. The program focuses on developing technical skills and building professional networks with elite specialists, contributing to motivating participants to complete their educational and professional paths in this promising field. The program is conducted in-person in Riyadh at King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology (KACST) laboratories for two months.
Note: The fellowship does not cover travel and accommodation costs in Riyadh.

Admission & Registration

Eligibility

You can apply to the Al-Khwarizmi Fellowship if you meet the following criteria:

You must be a student in the Bachelor's or Master's program at a Saudi university, open to all majors.

You must be able to conduct virtual interviews during September 2-5, 2025.
3
You must have a minimum level of language skills in Arabic/English.
4
The program is open to Saudi nationals and non-Saudi nationals.

Selection Criteria

We will evaluate applicants and select based on the following criteria:

Academic Performance Was your academic performance in secondary and university studies good?

Initiative Do you have any achievements or activities outside of school and university?
3
Social Responsibility Have you participated in activities to serve your community?
4
Scientific Test You must pass a test in physics, space, mathematics, and English, the test will be sent to all applicants

Withdrawal is not available after final acceptance except in exceptional cases determined by the organizing entity based on official documents.
In case of withdrawal without acceptable justification, a penalty clause will be applied as stipulated in the acceptance agreement.
